Hey, I’m Tara!

I’ve been photographing weddings for over 15 years!

My very first wedding was just three weeks after my third baby was born (a friend from church held my newborn while I took photos between feeds), I was hooked from the start. Since then, I’ve loved capturing people—the laughter, emotion, and honest moments that tell your story and keep those memories alive.

I’m based in Manawatū, New Zealand, and I shoot weddings, lifestyle sessions, and events. I also volunteer with SANDS, photographing for families who have lost babies.

 

My faith in Christ shapes how I see love, life, and all the beautiful, messy, and meaningful moments that make it real.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m homeschooling (sadly these days are coming to an end), attempting gardening, and trying to not eat too much dark chocolate (but it's a health food right?).
